It’s obviously not the newest phone, but it is  the most popular android phones out there. It has 13 Megapixel sensor and F2.2 aperture, it does not have optical image stabilization. But then again most Smartphones don’t have OIS, but it does have digitally.

Different camera modes are available to choose the shooting experience you want. I think this is the best smartphone camera experience when it first came out. When it first available, it was easily blowing away every other smartphone.
On my scale galaxy S4 Score

1. It gets 8 for sharpness and detail, thanks to 13 mega pixel sensor and the image processing.
2. I guess the 7 for colours and dynamic range just because  it tends to over saturate the colours a little bit. It  looks may be more pleasing to the real light but little bit less accurate.
3. It get the 8 for video because 1080P – 30 frames/sec video look stellar. It might not have image optical stabilization, like I said above which make it little bit smoother and less shaky. You can also take picture while recording. It got whole bunch of video features, you can use.
4. It gets 9 for controls because it has an incredible software. Whole bunch of different controls, over the shooting experience with all the different modes you get.

It might be a bit difficult to use it first because it is spread out and has weird menu at the top left corner and also has the menu by hitting the menu button. So It’s too spread out, but you will get to learn it. Overall it gets 32 score.
